Mastercard Bank of the Year

visual style, printed matter

Bank of the Year is a prestigious Czech competition that annually recognises the most successful banks and financial institutions on the market. It culminates in a gala evening that combines expert evaluation with a representative social format, and has long been one of the most significant events in the industry.

About the Project

Each edition is accompanied by the work of a different artist, which sets the visual direction for that year. For 2025, that artist was Jiří Černický. His artistic approach was developed into a cohesive visual identity for the gala evening, ensuring consistency across all outputs.

We designed a complete set of printed materials and elements for the evening — from table numbers and welcome cards inspired by the world of bank cards, through to the menu and programme, a photo wall, diplomas and invitations. Everything was designed with an emphasis on detail, elegance and clear orientation for guests.

The result is a visual whole that respects the character of the competition and the distinctive feel of each edition, whilst providing a refined and cultured setting for the awards ceremony and the celebratory atmosphere of the evening.

Each edition carries its own visual identity and a distinctive authorial style — grounded in a solid and legible system.
